St. Louis Slam vs. Columbus Comets (Football)

The NFL Season has been over for a while now, & some of you are feeling a bit blue...

Getting your pigskin fix this time of the year can be tough - but luckily, we have the St. Louis Slam! And even better, one our members, Tara, is one of their players!

What's this, you say? A woman playing football?

Yeah. A whole league of women playing football. Deal with it - it's cool. After all, it's 2008. And hey - it's better than stalking the nephew's Junior Football League. (shudder)

Let's support Tara & her teammates against the Columbus Comets! Tara says that it should be one of the 2 most competitive games of the season.

Tickets are $8, & you can either buy them from Tara directly, online here, or at the game. The game starts at 7:00 p.m.

Since the games are played at CBC High School, there will only be a snack bar with no alcoholic beverages served. Boo. (Now, those that would like to add a little party to the game..well, you're intelligent enough, or you can just wait until after the game.)

After the game, we'll probably head somewhere nearby for the all-important food & drink, as well as just good ol' hanging out time. Or not. We'll decide that later. In the meantime, if you want to wear orange &/or black to support the team, feel free!
