Details

Fairmount Park isn't just for old men bickering over handicaps & jockey standings...not on spring & summer Fridays, at least! Let's go check it out...

Admission is $10, & that includes live music, an appetizer buffet & drink specials: $1 Budweiser products, house wine (heh, at your own risk), & well drinks. (Normally, admission is $2.50, but the buffet is $17, & drinks are much higher.) We'll also get access to 3 different "party areas", & thanks to the new law in Illinois, they are smokefree, as well. There's an outdoor beer garden, & smokers can smoke a few feet outside of that - complicated, I know... Of course, sitting in the stands with our cheap drinks & free appetizers is always an option, too!

The doors open at 6:00, post time is 7:30. If you can't make it at 6:00, that's ok! As per usual, our cell phone #'s will be sent out when the date gets closer, so just call us if you don't see us.

Buy your ticket at the gate marked for Party At The Park. At $10, it's a great deal...especially if you choose to gamble & you actually win! (I always go by horse name & the colors...not very scientific, but I have won!)

See you at the races!

Claire
