WHO WE ARE:
Childfree St. Louis is an all-volunteer social club for singles & couples who, for whatever reason, have never been parents. We are here to give people without children an opportunity to meet and socialize with each other through a wide variety of social activities.
Most members of Childfree St. Louis thought long and hard about parenthood and have concluded for various reasons that it really wasn't right for them. Other members cannot have children or are not sure whether they want them. Childfree St. Louis gives us the opportunity to enjoy the company of other adults who are ready to go to brunch at a moment's notice, or linger over happy hour on a school night. Our members are both singles and couples, straight and gay. Our members range in age from the 20's to 50's with the majority in the 30's and 40's. Our events are attended by both couples and singles.
Our interests are wide & varied, & we're sure that you'll find something in common. Here are just a few:

- Books
- Dining
- Beer & wine
- Cooking & baking
- Hiking
- Movies
- Pets
- Whatever you bring to the group!
WHO WE ARE NOT:
Childfree St. Louis is not a support group for people who are unable to have children. People who are involuntarily childless, or who have not yet decided whether to have children are welcome, but most of the membership has made the choice not to have children.
Childfree St. Louis members are not a bunch of child-haters. Some of our members adore children, others...not so much. Talking about kids isn't "forbidden", but the subject rarely comes up. After all, the purpose is not to discuss the lack of children ad-nauseum & whine incessantly about how child-centric the world is, but rather to have fun get togethers with other people who can come out and play without hiring a sitter!
