The San Francisco Childfree Meetup Group
|
Meet other local childfree singles and couples to expand our social circles to include more non-breeders. I hope that this group will be a place where we can meet other people who we don't have to explain ourselves to. The purpose is not to discuss the lack of children ad-nauseum, but rather to have fun get togethers with other people who can come out and play without hiring a sitter, even on a weeknight!

Our next meeting:
Brunch and Salsa (dancing, that is)
The weather forecast is looking good for next weekend, and the Ramp is now in full swing for the summer season with Saturday afternoon salsa dancing! So, let's get together for brunch/lunch and then hang out for salsa. The plan is to meet around 1:00, put our name in for a table (they don't take reservations), and enjoy a bloody mary or two while we wait. Read more

"I'm a longtime resident of the SF Bay Area, and would be happy to organize dining and other events in the Palo Alto and Stanford area. I'm single and childfree. If I raised a kid like I do my half-golden, we'd be in trouble...!"
-
"In my 40's, single and never wanted kids of my own. Just relocated to the Bay Area in the last 7 months and looking to meet like-minded people to increase my social circle, get tips on places to go and this meetup was especially recommended to me ;-)"
